For a cinematic and beautifully shot TV campaign for a climate-neutral energy production of a Swiss electricity distributor, we are looking for the following actors and talents:
Role 1: «Woman in the mountains», female, approx. 40-60 years old, European.
Description: A mature woman. Her skin is tanned from the winter sun.
Criteria: Acting experience is an advantage. Non-speaking role.
Look: White hair welcome. Tanned skin.
Fee including Buyout: CHF 2’000.00 for one day of shooting.
Usage: TV, web, Digital Out Of Home, 1 year, Switzerland.
Role 2: «Man on the ski lift», approx. 30 – 50 years old, male, any ethnicity.
Description: Key role for the opening scene. A cheerful and charismatic man sits on a ski-lift, he is ready for great adventures.
Criteria: Acting experience/skill is an advantage. Must be able to perform simple actions and emotions.
No fear of heights or ski-lift. Non-speaking role. Includes short lip-sync performance (2 words).
Look: Preferably with beard (5-days beard or full beard). Average build.
Fee including Buyout: CHF 2’000.00 for one day of shooting.
Usage: TV, web, Digital Out Of Home, 1 year, Switzerland.
Role 3: «Taxi Driver», male, approx. 30-50 years old, any ethnicity.
Description: A taxi driver who despite the busy road and stressed-out clients, has the wisdom to stay calm and transform the situation.
Criteria: Acting experience/skills is an advantage. Must be able to perform simple actions and emotions.
Must have a driver’s license. Non-speaking role. Includes short lip-sync performance (2 words).
Shoot day/evening: The scene will be shot at nighttime; therefore, the shoot can take until midnight.
Fee including Buyout: CHF 2’000.00 for one day of shooting.
Usage: TV, web, Digital Out Of Home, 1 year, Switzerland.
Role 4: «Kissing couple», female couple, approx. 18-30 years old, all ethnicities.
Description: Two young women kiss openly on a dance floor until they realise they are being observed.
Criteria: Must be willing to perform a passionate kiss on camera. Acting experience/skill is an advantage. Extroverted personality. Non-speaking role. Includes short lip-sinc performance (2 words). If you apply as a couple: Please provide an image of both of you together.
Shoot day/evening: The scene will be shot at nighttime; therefore, the shoot can take until midnight.
Look: Cool, urban, extroverted. Diversity in ethnic backgrounds desired.
Fee including Buyout: CHF 2’000.00 for one day of shooting.
Usage: TV, web, Digital Out Of Home, 1 year, Switzerland.
SHOOT DATES / PROCEDURE:
Fitting: Tuesday, 16th January 2024 in Zurich City.
Shoot day:
1 shoot day on either Thursday / 18th January 2024, Friday /19th January 2024 /Saturday 20th January 2024.
As the shooting schedule is still being worked out currently, we need your availability on all the above-mentioned dates. The shoot day for the roles of the ‘taxi driver’ and the ‘kissing couple’ are most likely to take place in Zürich on Saturday, 20th January 2024.
Shoot location for Taxi driver and Kissing couple: Zürich
Shoot location for other roles: Possibly Glarus, St. Gallen and surroundings or other option (tbd).
Casting: Submissions by no later than Wednesday, 20th December 2023 with photos and casting sheet as follows: (The earlier, the better, as we are continuously selecting!)
• 3-4 current portraits and 1 full-body photo (professional photos or alternatively cleanly photographed current photos against a neutral wall in good light).
• an additional picture(s) of your activity matching the role you are applying for.
