Call for entries: Visions du Réel - International Film Festival

The submissions for the 2012 edition of Visions du Réel - International Film Festival are open.

Registration Deadlines
- Until 10 Oct. 2011 for films finished before Sept. 2011
- Until 10 Jan. 2012 for films finished after Sept. 2011

Competitive sections:

Compétition Internationale
It includes three sections for feature length, medium length and short films. A total of around 50 films given world, international and European premiers. Special consideration is given to the first and second films of young filmmakers.

Helvétiques
A selection of feature length and medium length films for world, international, European and Swiss premier screenings.

Etat d'Esprit
The best in world production premiered in Switzerland.

Premiers Pas
First short films by self-taught filmmakers or film school graduates premiered in Switzerland. Each day young filmmakers meet Festival programmers, producers, and writers to reflect on their work.
